The workshop took place from August 29 to September 1, 2004, in Asunción, the capital of Paraguay.
Representing Universidad ORT Uruguay Julio Fernández, Dean of Academic Development; Guillermo Langwagen, Academic Coordinator of the Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering programs; and Álvaro Sánchez, a professor in the Telecommunications program.
Mr. Fernández, who led one of the workshops, participated as an observer and member of the ad hoc committee on engineering programs under the Mercosur experimental mechanism.
Mr. Langwagen and Mr. Sánchez were selected as peer reviewers.
