The contest was organized by the Uruguayan chapter of the Association of Economic and Financial Journalism Researchers (AIPEF) and the U.S. Embassy in Uruguay.
This year, Erika Hoffmann, a journalist for Canal 10 and Radio El Espectador, won the AIPEF Award.
