About 100 new students in short-term programs and university degree programs attended the welcome events at the Pocitos Campus, where they met the rest of their classmates and got to know the various academic and administrative coordinators.
In university programs, these include the Certified Public Accountant program, the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration, and the Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business Management.
For short-term programs, students enrolled in the following courses: Foreign Trade Analyst, Logistics and Supply Chain Management Analyst, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Analyst, Commercial Management and Sales Technician, and Business Management and Administration Technician.

At the welcome ceremony for the short-term degree programs, the dean of the faculty, Dr. Teresa Cometto, emphasized that this was not “just another day.” “This is the first step on a journey that, I am certain, will give you much more than just a degree. Here, in these classrooms, you will gain knowledge and technical skills, but you will also discover strengths you may not yet realize you possess,” she noted.
"There are different stories in this group," he said:
- Some are already working and want to advance their careers and take on new challenges.
- Others are just getting started, hoping to find a job quickly so they can enter the workforce.
- And some, perhaps, are here exploring, trying to discover what they're passionate about.
“No matter where you start, you all share something very valuable: the decision to invest time and energy in yourselves. And that alone speaks to your commitment and vision,” Cometto said.
The true value of studying lies not only in what you know how to do, but in why you want to do it. What do you hope to achieve with these tools? What kind of impact do you want to make?
Dr. Teresa Cometto
