The Impact of Trade Liberalization on Employment, Capital, and Productivity Dynamics was conducted by:
- Dr. Néstor Gandelman, academic coordinator of economics at the School of Management and Social Sciences;
- Prof. Carlos Casacuberta, professor of Labor Economics at Universidad ORT Uruguay in Universidad ORT Uruguay;
- Gabriela Fachola, Ph.D., professor and researcher at the University of the Republic.
The project is among a group of five finalists who participated in the competition organized by the nonprofit Global Development Network.
In this context, Dr. Gandelman was invited to participate in the "Sixth Annual Global Development Conference," which will take place from January 24 to 26, 2005, in Dakar, Senegal.
He will present his work on January 25.
