This annual ranking, which evaluates more than 30,000 universities, is one of the most recognized in the world. The main criteria used to compile it are academic peer reviews, assessments by international employers, and academic output recorded in the Scopus database.
Five Latin American countries have universities ranked among the top 400, with ORT being the only Uruguayan university included.
