Repapel is a nonprofit organization with over 20 years of experience in Uruguay, dedicated to promoting the circular economy and environmental education in schools.
ORT has a strategic partnership with Repapel and Fabitech for the recovery of paper and cardboard, materials that are recycled and transformed into new products, thereby supporting social and educational programs in public schools across the country.
This partnership is part of the university's institutional approach to sustainability, in which the university works alongside organizations that combine recycling with a social component.
Through these partnerships, Universidad ORT Uruguay its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals —particularly SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)—by strengthening a network of cooperation that promotes environmental education and collective action toward a more sustainable future.
