Agenda 2025
For more than 20 years, ORT Uruguay has been producing a thematic calendar for Rosh Hashanah, typically highlighting notable figures, significant events, and commemorations.
This year, the program pays tribute to the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein's visit to Uruguay.

Speech by rector Universidad ORT Uruguay, Dr. Jorge Grünberg
It is a pleasure to welcome you all. I cannot name each of you individually, but it is a special pleasure to have my father, Dr. José Grunberg, here with us today, as well as the entire team that works with us, and those who, as I always say, never leave the family because they remain with us even after stepping down from their roles.

Remarks by Martín Kalenberg, Coordinator of Jewish Studies at ORT
Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish year. It is a new beginning that, in turn, builds on the previous year.
A time to reflect on what we need to change, as well as the paths we want to continue following.
It is a time to be with family, reflect on the year that has passed, smile and cry, and forgive others and ourselves. From September 22 to 24, Jewish tradition invites us to be with ourselves, our loved ones, and our thoughts, and to take that time—which we sometimes lack—to think about who we want to be.

A toast by Daniel Oliveri, ORT’s Vice President for Administration
All the best to you, and have a great 5786.
We’d like to raise a toast with everyone to the new year, and to the fulfillment of the wishes we all have for ourselves and our families.
Wishing you peace, work, health, prosperity, and everything else your imagination can think of. Happy New Year to everyone. Shana Tova! L'chaim!
