Sustainability Committee
Universidad ORT Uruguay the creation of a Sustainability Committee, an executive body whose mission is to guide, coordinate, and supervise institutional policies in this area.
Its objective is to consolidate a comprehensive strategy covering education, research, outreach, and university management, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The committee is responsible for developing the Strategic Sustainability Plan, with measurable goals and annual evaluations, and for publishing the Annual Sustainability Report, which details the progress made.

Principles for Responsible Management Education
PRME is a United Nations initiative that seeks to transform business and management education by integrating values of sustainability, social responsibility, and ethics into the training of future leaders.
Universidad ORT Uruguay signed on to the Principles for Responsible Management Education as part of its commitment to academic sustainability.
This involves incorporating content related to responsible management, innovation with social impact, and the Sustainable Development Goals into undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as promoting interdisciplinary research projects.

Times Higher Education Impact Rankings
Universidad ORT Uruguay the only Uruguayan university to be included in the prestigious THE Impact Rankings 2024, which highlights its commitment and excellence in various areas of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Now in its sixth edition, THE Impact Rankings 2024, compiled by the British magazine Times Higher Education (THE), evaluates universities based on their contribution to the SDGs.
