Rosenzweig: awarded one of 12 honors by World ORT

One of the 2020 Beatrice Wand-Polak Educators Awards was presented to a faculty member from the School of Communication & Design.

Rubén Rosenzweig received one of the 12 2020 Beatrice Wand-Polak Educators Awards, which are given to outstanding individuals for their contributions to education and the promotion of the principles on which World ORT was founded.

Rosenzweig holds a bachelor's degree in Animation and Videogames and is a faculty member in the same program at Universidad ORT Uruguay. He holds a master's degree in Educational Technology: e-Learning and Knowledge Management from Rovira i Virgili University (Spain). He is a freelance animator and designer. He worked as a 3D animator at Scientific Animations Without Borders (SAWBO) in Michigan (United States).

The award was presented in December by the Director General of Universidad ORT Uruguay, Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg, in the presence of Oscar Aguirre, Assistant Dean of the School of Design; Eduardo Hipogrosso, Dean of the School of Communication and Design; Dr. Jorge Grünberg, Rector Universidad ORT Uruguay Daniel Oliveri, Chief Financial Officer.
