China's Programme Excellence Programme

The China Scholarship Council has launched the China Programme Excellence Programme with the aim of cultivating global governance talent with a broad international perspective, outstanding comprehensive qualities, exceptional leadership skills, and a multicultural background.

The program leads to a master's degree and lasts 12 months, with a full scholarship.

May 2023: Submission of applications. 

September 2023: Start of studies in China.

Requirements

  • Be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China, under the age of 45, and in good physical and mental health.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and have at least three years of work experience. Preference will be given to applicants with professional training or work experience related to the proposed program.
  • Belong to one of the following four categories: civil servant at the level of division chief (or equivalent) or higher; senior manager at an institution or company; administrator at a university or scientific research institution; and those with relevant work or internship experience at international organizations.
