Universidad ORT Uruguay applications for its first round of admissionsfrom March 19 to April 11, 2024.
The exchange program must take place in the first semester of 2025 (Spring 2025).

The scholarships will be awarded to recipients in the host country, so they will need to cover certain expenses (such as travel and accommodation) before traveling.
Requirements
- Meet the standard program requirements for enrollment in the regular exchange program. These requirements can be obtained from the academic coordinator.
- Comply with the standard requirements for student exchanges and Erasmus+ ICM mobility programs. This includes paying the ORT exchange fee.
- Not be in the final semester of the degree program at the time of the exchange.
- Not having previously participated in the ORT exchange program.
- Have an outstanding grade point average (GPA of 85 or higher).
- Meet the requirements for submitting the online application form, proof of enrollment, a letter of motivation, a resume, and proof of English proficiency.
- If you are the recipient of any type of ORT scholarship, please mention this in your letter of motivation.
Application
1. The academic coordinator for the program must send an email to the exchange coordinator, authorizing your enrollment in the Erasmus+ ICM program. The email must include your name, student ID number, and email address.
2. After receiving approval from the academic office, the exchange office will send you the registration form, which you must complete online before the deadline.
3. In addition, you must email:

- Resume
- A cover letter in English of no more than 400 words, explaining why you are applying for the scholarship and what the Erasmus+ Program means to you (if you have any type of ORT scholarship, please mention it here).
- Certificate of English proficiency, Level B2.
Deadline: Applications will be accepted through April 11, 2024.
ORT’s international office will select candidates from among all applications received, based on the available scholarships listed above. The selection process will take into account the applicant’s GPA, the number of credits earned, the statement of purpose, the resume, and a personal interview (in person or via Zoom) with those who meet all the above criteria and are shortlisted. The office will then nominate the final selected candidates to the university of their choice.
In each case, an alternate will be selected in the event that the scholarship recipient is unable to participate in the exchange program for any reason.
The beneficiaries agree to
- Meet the requirements, complete the necessary paperwork, and adhere to the deadlines for the admission process as established by the host university. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the host university, which may reject applicants who do not meet the requirements or deadlines of its admission process.
- Meet the requirements for international credit-bearing mobility under the Erasmus+ program.
- Coordinate the Learning Agreement with ORT and the host university before the start of the mobility period.
- Take courses that will be recognized by ORT, subject to prior approval by the academic coordinators. It is very important to review the course offerings at the host university before submitting your application to the Erasmus+ program.
- Arrange your travel, accommodation, and residence permit (if necessary), and handle any other necessary arrangements to ensure your stay at the destination for the entire period specified in the Erasmus+ grant agreement (including handling visa or residence permit procedures in the host country, opening bank accounts, etc.).
- Take the necessary steps to ensure health coverage in the destination country.
- Provide ORT with copies of the signed agreements and the satisfaction surveys and credit recognition surveys that have been conducted.
- Submit a report on your Erasmus+ mobility experience to ORT upon your return, as a requirement for credit transfer (recognition).
In order to process the transfer of earned credits, you must first provide the Student Exchange Office with copies of signed agreements, completed surveys, and the ORT report on the Erasmus+ mobility program you have completed.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
