Programme Estudiantes - Brazil Graduate Program Agreement

Starting in December 2026, registration will be open for the 2027 academic year under the Student Exchange Program ( Programme ) — Brazil’s Postgraduate Agreement (PEC-PG), which offers 100 international students the opportunity to pursue graduate studies at Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Institutions (STIs).

The current decentralized format for selecting scholarship recipients is noteworthy. Brazil’s National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) will publish the list of selected institutional proposals on its website in December 2026.

Once the list is published, candidates must register directly with the selected higher education/science and technology institutions (HEIs/STIs), which will conduct their own selection processes.

Interested students are advised to review the specific criteria for each graduate program (PPG).
