The competition aims to provide training to information technology (IT) startups to prepare them for meetings with local and international investors.
It will also allow five startups to participate in the 4th“SummIT Uruguay”at no cost.
To enter the contest, you must complete the application form available on the website of the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (Cuti); the deadline is June 27, 2014.
A maximum of 30 participants from IT startups or companies seeking investment ranging from $50,000 to $1 million will be selected.
The projects selected to participate in the competition will be able to take part in four training workshops on the following topics:
- Entrepreneurs and Investors: Key Elements for a Special Dialogue. Marcel Mordezki - Enrique Topolansky. Universidad ORT Uruguay.
- Development of the business model and target market. Omar Paganini - Fernando Brum. Catholic University of Uruguay.
- How Much Is Your Startup Worth? Rodrigo Ribeiro. Universidad ORT Uruguay.
- Presented your business idea. Isabelle Charquiriand - Alejandro Laborde. University of Montevideo.
