The exhibition features 30 panels that explore both the scientific and personal aspects of his life: reproductions of scientific papers, academic writings, his Nobel Prize diploma, and letters to scholars, family members, and friends.
The originals were donated by Einstein to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which he founded in 1925. The Hebrew University produced these replicas, which are now on display around the world.
The faculty organized guided tours and offered lectures on the "Theory of Relativity" delivered by Dr. Efrain Buksman, Associate Professor of Physics, and Carlos Vera, a faculty member in the Department of Physics.
The organization of "Science and Technology Week" is led by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Montevideo, the Faculty of Sciences, the National Institute for Agricultural Research, CienciaViva, and the Uruguayan Society for the Advancement of Science and Technology, has auspices of UNESCO.
