Perednik holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s degree in education from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (cum laude), where he was also recognized as an outstanding professor. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York. He studied the humanities at the Sorbonne (France), San Marcos (Peru), and Uppsala (Sweden). He has been invited to lecture at dozens of universities in the United States, Spain, and China. He has written more than a dozen books, many of which have won international literary awards, and has published over a thousand articles on Judaism and modernity. Among his published works, we highlight: “Great Thinkers: Jews in Western Civilization” (2005) and “Notable Thinkers: Jews in Western Civilization” (2006), both published by Universidad ORT Uruguay.
