Students present "Fashion Interferes" at Punta Carretas Shopping

On July 24, the fashion show "Fashion Makes a Statement" took place at Punta Carretas Shopping, presented by students in the Fashion Event Design and Production course (7th semester) of the Bachelor of Fashion Design program, who showcased their fall-winter 2008–2009 clothing collections.

The 11 students and more than 20 models walked through the mall among the crowd, stopping at five photo and video stations that showcased the creative vision of the project, divided into the series "Unexpected, Dramatic, and Mystical."

The instructors in charge of the course were Normando Martín and Soledad Capurro. The participating students were Laura Almeida, Magdalena Bordoli, Sofía Gruss, Ma Eugenia Lissignoli, Valentina Pou, Lucía Quagliotti, Jacqueline Bergstein, Iannina Branda, Mónica Calegari, Marcela Porcile, Natalia Vázquez, Verónica Wajskopf, Valentina Kornhauser, Ana Callejas, María Carrasco, Ma Emilia Cerviño, and Patricia Teske.
