Dr. Gairín holds a Ph.D. in Education Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is the Director of the Doctoral Program "Quality in Educational Innovation Processes" at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is Director of the "Organizational Development" (EDO) Research Group, composed of a team of specialists with extensive experience who pursue various lines of research related to innovation and university improvement, the integration of new technologies into organizations, organizational development, leadership in relational systems, and educational supervision systems. The group works in coordination with other research teams from the Universities of Madrid, Granada, Alcalá, Complutense, and the UNED. He is the author of various publications, including "Educational Decentralization: A Solution or a Problem?", "School Organization: Context and Framework for Action," and "Leadership and Learning Organizations."
