From 1997 to 2004, Heguy worked on the news program *Subrayado* on Canal 10, covering international news under the guidance of Barret Puig. She taught Current Affairs at Los Pilares Elementary and High School. In 2007, she produced the series Los Comunicadores for the newspaper El Observador, featuring twenty interviews with journalists that are included in this book.
The book brings together the author’s conversations with thirty of the leading figures in national media and their reflections on the reality of practicing journalism in our country.
