October 31, 2008
As part of the activities of the Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education (CAES), the Institute of Education is organizing the seminars "Learning in Higher Education," "Educational Technology in Higher Education," and "Planning in Teaching," led by Dr. Daniel Germán, Dr. Edith Litwin, and Mirtha Ricobaldi, M.A. The courses are intended for university faculty members.

On October 24 and November 21, the seminar "Learning in Higher Education" was held, led by Dr. Daniel Germán, a professor and advisor for the Master’s in Education program. The seminar aimed to encourage participants to reflect on their own teaching practices at the university level. The course sought to present, from various analytical perspectives, the main findings generated by research in this field, with the aim of helping participating faculty members construct theoretical frameworks that facilitate an understanding of certain aspects of their own practices and those of their students, both in the classroom and within the institution.

On October 24, November 21, and December 12, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., the seminar “Educational Technology in Higher Education” will be held, led by Dr. Edith Litwin, Academic Coordinator of Education Sciences at the Institute of Education. The speaker will present real-world cases and projects from higher education that incorporate technology. She will analyze their effects on teaching practices and student learning.

On November 7, 14, and 28, the seminar "Planning in Teaching" will be held, led by Mag. Mirtha Ricobaldi, a professor and researcher at the Institute of Education. The course analyzes different approaches to guiding lesson planning, addressing the theoretical, technical, and practical aspects of these tasks.
