On March 4, the presentation of the book *Silence, Domestic Violence: A Case Study* by journalist Andrés Alsina, a faculty member, took place in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. The panel included Senator Margarita Percovich; Family Court Judge Ana Muñecas of the Third Circuit; and former judge and co-author of the Domestic Violence Law, Ana Lima. Paula Mosca, a member of the Uruguayan Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, served as moderator.

Prof. Alsina has worked as a journalist for *La Opinión* and *El Mundo* in Argentina; for Swedish National Radio; and in Uruguay for *El Día*, *Punto y Aparte*, *La Mañana*, and *El Observador*.

The event featured a book presentation, followed by a discussion on the Uruguayan government’s progress in training and raising awareness among the judiciary regarding domestic violence, as well as on the creation of additional specialized courts.
