ORT University Teams Win the "6th University Sports Tournament"

ORT University won the "6th University Sports Tournament" for the sixth consecutive year; the event was held in the city of Colonia from April 24 to 26. The event was organized by the University of Montevideo. Teams from the Catholic University, the University of Montevideo, ORT University, the Schools of Architecture and Engineering at the University of the Republic, Crandon Universitario, the Military Academy, Lasaye Hockey Club, and Old Christian Colonia participated.

There were competitions in futsal, basketball, women’s hockey, women’s handball, and soccer. ORT, which fielded a team of 38 students, won the championship in all disciplines except soccer and handball.
