Lecture: "Gigante: An XXG Love Story"

On June 18, the lecture "Gigante: An XXG Love Story" took place in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. The speaker was Adrián Biniez, the film's director, who discussed the filmmaking process, from the initial concept through post-production.

"Gigante" won the Silver Bear for the Grand Jury Prize, the Alfred Bauer Prize for Cinematic Innovation, and the Best First Feature Film Award at the 59th Berlin International Film Festival.

Adrián Biniez co-wrote, alongside Inés Bortagaray, based on an idea by Bortagaray, Pablo Stoll, and Juan Pablo Rebella, "El Fin del Mundo," a 13-episode television series produced by Taxi Films. He also co-wrote the short film "El Baterista" for UNICEF Uruguay, alongside Pablo Stoll and Juan Pablo Rebella.
