Lecture: "18 Years of Malos Pensamientos"

On June 29, the lecture "18 Years of Malos Pensamientos" by Orlando Petinatti took place in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. The creator of the format that revolutionized FM radio through humor celebrated the 18th anniversary, 19 seasons, and more than three thousand episodes of his program Malos Pensamientos. The event was organized by the Academic Coordination of Advertising.

In a discussion aimed at sharing his experiences with the students, Petinatti recounted his story, offered his perspective on the changes that have taken place in media consumption over the past two decades, and provided details about the mechanics of his radio show.

Freddy Nieuchowicz, whose stage name is Lic. Orlando Petinatti, is a Uruguayan radio host, presenter, TV host, and entrepreneur, known for his radio show Malos Pensamientos, created in 1991. Since 2004, it has been broadcast on Radiofutura FM 91.1. From 1992 to 1998, he hosted another morning comedy show, which set audience records in its 7 a.m. time slot, titled "Jack, el Despertador." Since 1994, the popularity of Malos Pensamientos has been on the rise. One of the most groundbreaking segments on Uruguayan radio is "La Mano," where listeners ask for help resolving issues related to love, sex, family, work, and other topics, using humor as a powerful tool and relying on improvisation. Malos Pensamientos is the most listened-to program in the history of Uruguayan radio.
