Kantea from Italy is teaching a course at the School of Architecture

The Italian organization Kantea, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Policies, the Associazione Lauria, the Uruguayan Chamber of Construction, the Faculty of Architecture at ORT University, the Lucca School of Construction, the Siena School of Construction, the Lecce School of Construction, and the Taranto School of Construction, decided to promote the free specialization course “Tecnico per il Restauro Conservativo e Architettonico” (Advanced Technician in Architectural Conservation and Restoration). The course took place from March to July at the Faculty of Architecture. For this reason, Prof. Simone Lippi, Professor of Computer Science and technician for website management and computer maintenance at the Scuola Edile di Lucca, and Prof. Gianluca Granata (pictured), Italian language instructor and Medical Director and founding partner of the Omniavet Veterinary Clinic in Rome, traveled from Italy to teach courses from March 8 to 17.

The objective of the course, which began on March 8, was to provide twelve unemployed individuals with experience in the construction industry in Uruguay with retraining, professional development, and specialized training through the following modules:

*Management of technical and administrative procedures in construction.
*Human resources management.
*Distance learning.
*Business Management (in Italy).
*Visits to Construction Companies (in Italy).

The course was open to Italian citizens or their descendants (with citizenship) residing in Uruguay, with experience in the construction sector, preferably between the ages of 25 and 40, and with knowledge of the Italian language.
