November 16, 2009
The team, consisting of Maximiliano Nogueira, a public accounting student, along with Sebastián González and Darío Avila, students in the Bachelor of Advertising Communication program at ORT University, and Maximiliano Otermin, an economics student at the University of the Republic, won the Sebrae Challenge in Uruguay. In February, they will compete in the finals in Rio de Janeiro.

The contest is a game organized by Sebrae in Brazil and promoted in Uruguay by ADM (Association of Marketing Executives).

It involves simulating a company operating in a market comprised of all the teams competing to manage and lead the target sector.

The Uruguay finals were held on November 7 and 8 at ADM. The winning team from Uruguay received a trip to Rio de Janeiro as a prize to compete in the Latin American finals of the Challenge, where they will face off against the winning teams from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
