Sebastián Haro holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from ORT University. ContenidoWeb, the company he runs, specializes in providing content writing and updating services for corporate websites in Uruguay and the Spanish-speaking market.
The project began as an idea initially presented to the CIE's idea pre-incubator, where it received the support needed to strengthen and develop it.
With support from the CIE, he applied to the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) for funding and was selected in the Young Entrepreneurs call for proposals. In 2008, the project was awarded first prize in the 2nd Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition organized by the Emprender Program. Today, it is a company incubated at Ingenio with excellent prospects for growth.
Engineer García is the director of Ingenio, an incubator for innovative, high-value-added companies that belongs to LATU. Its objective is to provide support to new, dynamic, and potentially profitable ventures so that they can access international markets. Initially, Ingenio supported ventures with a strong technological focus, an aspect that has since expanded, and today it supports companies in various fields, such as ContenidoWeb and others in the design sector.
The "Entrepreneurs in Network" series is a space where entrepreneurs, companies, and support organizations come together to propose business ideas, connect, and build a network of strategic contacts that enable them to launch their ventures.
