Conference: "The Mood: Developing the Trend Concept into a Product"

On Tuesday, May 25, the lecture "The Mood: Developing the Concept from Trend to Product" was held in the Centro Auditorium, presented by Orazio Lo Presti, an architect and professor at Polimoda, International Institute - Fashion Design & Marketing in Italy. The event was aimed at students, graduates, and faculty members of the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design.

Architect Lo Presti presented the concept of "mood" in fashion, its connection to the development of trend-based work methodologies, and its application to the final product.

The speaker teaches courses on Cool Hunting and Trendsetting, Product Management, Product Identity, Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Footwear and Accessories, Beauty Trends, Personal Shopping, and Styling atPolimoda. He undertakes interior design projects and participates in international trade shows such asPitti Moda, Pitti Filati, Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo, andMilano-Vendemoda, as well as designing exhibition spaces, sets, and costumes for theatrical productions. He produces Trend Books for the Associazione Italiana Stilisti and theEuropean Fashion Designers Association.
