In our country, as in the rest of the world, local regulations are being adapted to promote transparency in the provision of information. Consequently, laws and regulations have been enacted to achieve these objectives. The conference will focus on the main aspects of these agreements and information exchanges.
Dr. Varela is a Professor of Applied Tax Law at the School of Administration and Social Sciences at ORT University. He is a partner at Ferrere Abogados and Director of the firm’s Tax Department. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies and a member of the International Fiscal Association.
Dr. Gutierrez is a Professor of Applied Tax Law at the School of Administration and Social Sciences at ORT University. He graduated with a degree in International and American Law from the Center for American and International Law in Dallas, Texas. He completed graduate-level courses in taxation at Georgetown University Law Center (International Aspects of Taxation). He is the Manager of the Tax Department at Ferrere Abogados.
