CIE Coordinator and Graduate Participate in Entrepreneur Training Courses at Babson College on Scholarships from Banco Santander

From July 25 to August 7, Agustín Napoleone, a graduate in Systems Engineering, participated in the Babson Entrepreneurship Workshop held at Babson College in Boston. Banco Santander awarded a grant to the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) to fund this workshop, which was awarded to Mr. Napoleone, one of the directors of Dvelop, a company that was pre-incubated at the CIE and is currently incubated at Ingenio. Additionally, Enrique Topolansky, Coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Associate Professor of Information Systems in the School of Engineering, will attend the Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators for Santander Fellows from September 26 to October 4, with a grant from Banco Santander.

At the Babson Entrepreneurship Workshop, a renowned and experienced faculty shared the principles of planning and executing entrepreneurial ventures with students and entrepreneurs from various countries. The workshop covered the following topics: Entrepreneurial Mindset; Opportunity Assessment; New Venture Creation; Corporate Entrepreneurship; Marketing for Entrepreneurs; Finance for Entrepreneurs; Entrepreneurship Business Plan; Managing a Growing Business; Family Enterprising; and Buying a Small Business.

For its part, the Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators has been the leading program for training entrepreneurship educators since its inception in 1984. Since then, it has trained more than 2,400 representatives from educational institutions around the world. It covers the following topics: The Entrepreneurial Teacher, Entrepreneurial Thought and Action, Teaching Entrepreneurship as a Method, Entrepreneurial Identity, Idea Generation and Creativity, Market Tests, Business Models, and Managing Growing Ventures.
