Lecture: "Bioclimatic Architecture: A Must-Have "

August 2, 2010
On Tuesday, August 3, the Faculty of Architecture hosted the lecture "Bioclimatic Architecture: A Sine Qua Non," presented by Architect Andrés Eliseo Cabrera, coordinator and tenured professor of the faculty’s Bioclimatic Architecture course, and Architect María Inés Magri Bosch, who holds a Master’s degree in Environment and Bioclimatic Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and is an assistant professor for the course.

The event was aimed at architects, designers, technicians, and students in these fields who wish to rediscover this approach to building.

Bioclimatic architecture is a prerequisite for energy efficiency in buildings: coordinated efforts combining efficient energy use with bioclimatic architecture make it possible to achieve near-zero energy costs.

Following the conference, the speakers provided information about the Bioclimatic Architecture course.
