The speaker is the Director ofLeadership Development Programs and Director of the Master’s in Operations Management at ESADE Business School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and an MBA from ESADE, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia ( UPC). Prior to his current position, he worked at Hewlett Packard in the Production, Logistics, and Finance departments, supporting new product development and marketing teams. He was alsoa Product Manager at Banca Catalana (BBVA Group).
During the session, he analyzed how non-linear thinking that challenges conventions has benefited well-known companies such as Ryanair, Nintendo, Cirque du Soleil, Apple, Microsoft, McDonald’s, and IKEA, as well as other emerging companies that are already threatening the dominance of current market leaders, such as Acer, RIM, Tata, Google, and Spotify. Many have broken the rules of the game in their respective industries and, in record time, have become globally recognized companies, in some cases turning into true“category killers,” always placing customers at the center of their strategies.
