A graduate-led startup incubated at Ingenio graduated as part of the 3rd Global Business Day

December 13, 2010
The company Kizanaro, led by Krikor Attarian, Ignacio Oliveri, and Steffano Zammarelli—all graduates of the Bachelor’s program in Systems—graduated from the Ingenio incubator.

The graduation ceremony for the incubated companies took place on December 8 in Ingenio, as part of the 3rd Global Business Day.

The company, which analyzes soccer matches, took its first steps in the pre-incubator program at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

In attendance were the CIE Coordinator, Enrique Topolansky; the Coordinator of the CIE Center for Technological Entrepreneurship, Diego Mariani; and the Graduate Coordinator of the School of Engineering, Ana Laura Trias.

The startup received the "Award for Excellence in Local Entrepreneurship" from the Inter-American Development Bank in October at the Foromic event, in recognition of the software it developed for the Uruguayan national soccer team during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
