Conference: "New Consoles and New Technologies: An Analysis of Future Trends in the Video Game Market"

On Monday, March 14, the lecture "New Consoles and New Technologies: An Analysis of Future Trends in the Video Game Market" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Communication and Design. The lecture was presented by Gonzalo Frasca, Director and Video Game Designer at Powerful Robot Games and Professor of Video Games at the school. This lecture, held as part of the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Video Games, presented attendees with the challenges involved in video game development.

The speaker has developed games for Pixar, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., Lucasfilm, and Disney. He holds a Ph.D. in Video Games from the IT University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and a Master’s degree in Information Science and Technology fromthe Georgia Institute of Technology ( Atlanta, United States).
