Conference: "Estimation Methods in Technology Markets"

On Wednesday, October 12, 2011, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences hosted the lecture "Methods for Estimation in Technology Markets," delivered by Fernando Palop, Director for Spain and Portugal at the Institute for Competitive Intelligence, Associate Professor in the Department of Business Organization at the University of Valencia, and co-founder of the consulting firm Triz XXI. The event was organized by the Academic Coordination of the Master’s Program in ICT Technology Business Management. 

Technological innovations and products present specific challenges when estimating their respective markets. The speaker provided an overview of the various quantitative and qualitative techniques currently used to reduce uncertainty in estimating the size and characteristics of technology market segments.

From October 10 to 14, Mr. Palop taught the course "Innovation and Technology Strategies" as part of the Master’s in ICT Technology Business Management.
