The contest rules stipulated that participants must design a house that can be built and maintained by optimizing human, technological, and financial resources through the rational and efficient use of materials, intelligent orientation and ventilation, making the most of natural resources, and incorporating renewable energy generation systems.
The booth was set up in partnership with the company Bromyros and with the collaboration and participation of the Association of Private Construction Developers, the Uruguayan Chamber of Construction, the Uruguayan-German Chamber of Commerce, and the National Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining through the Energy Efficiency Project.
As part of the fair, on October 29, Architect Laura Moya, a faculty researcher, delivered a lecture titled "Wood Construction Technology for Housing."
