The "Global Game Jam," organized by the International Game Developers Association, is a global event launched four years ago to facilitate the exchange of experiences among video game developers, programmers, designers, musicians, animators, and illustrators—both amateurs and professionals.
The jams bring together developers, students, and video game enthusiasts. The event began with an instructional video, after which participants had to create a video game in 48 hours based on a global theme that was revealed to them: “The snake that eats its own tail.” All the video games are available on the event’s website.
Games created by Uruguayan participants:
- Boron
- Ouroboros Rage Rush
- Steamballs
- Jellyfish
- ParaParaParanoid
- Wuji GO!
- Concentric
