Seminar: “Learning in Higher Education”

March 9, 2012
On March 2, 2012, the seminar “Learning in Higher Education,” organized by the Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education (CAES), began. The seminar was aimed at university faculty members.

The course aimed to encourage participants to reflect on their own teaching practices at the university level. It was taught at the Institute of Education by Daniel Germán, B.A.

The seminar, which will take place on March 2, 9, and 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., aims to present the main findings of research in this field from various analytical perspectives, with the goal of helping participating teachers develop theoretical frameworks that facilitate an understanding of certain aspects of their own practices and those of their students, both in the classroom and within the institution.

Mr. Germán holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He is a teacher, professor, and director of the Teacher Training Institute. He is a specialist and researcher in learning-related topics.
