"Jaime Kleist: The Enchanted Artist" is a 7-minute documentary paying tribute to the artist, whose work offers insights into life in the Jewish ghettos of Eastern Europe (shtetl), that disappeared after World War II and the Holocaust (Holocaust). The short film was based on an idea by Prof. Charlotte S. de Grunberg, Director General of Universidad ORT Uruguay, and directed by Sebastián Mayayo, a student in the Bachelor’s program in Audiovisual Communication, and Ramiro Ozer Ami, a graduate in Graphic Design and instructor of the Integrative Project course in the School of Communication and Design.
The plaque was presented by Fernando Goldsman and Jorge Jellinek, the festival’s executive producer and head of programming, respectively.
