The Dean of the School of Architecture, Architect Gastón Boero, visited the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile from April 19 to 21, 2012. He was invited by Dr. Alfredo Serpell, Manager of the Training and Workforce Skills Unit at DICTUC, a subsidiary of that university whose mission is to transfer expert knowledge from its School of Engineering. The purpose of the visit was to establish ties and explore potential cooperation agreements between the two institutions for the development of specialization and training courses on topics related to the management and technical supervision of construction projects.
