Publication of the book “Narrative Constructions in Holocaust Education: The Jewish School Network of Montevideo”

April 26, 2012
The book *Narrative Constructions in Holocaust Education: The Jewish School Network of Montevideo* by David Telias, Coordinator of the Department of Jewish Studies and professor of Contemporary International History in the School of Management and Social Sciences, was published in April 2012 by Editorial Académica Española.

The book is an exploratory study of how the Jewish Holocaust—the Shoah—is taught in schools within the Jewish School Network of Montevideo, and specifically, of the narrative frameworks that teachers develop in their teaching practice.

The research conducted provided insight into the significance that each of these narrative constructions holds within the framework of Shoah teaching approaches, as well as the learning experiences generated by their intersections.
