The speakers, who represent the academic and business sectors in the field of ICT (information and communication technologies), shared the lessons they learned after visiting Israel. In the new "Entrepreneurs in Network" series, the speakers encouraged reflection on the challenges Uruguay must address to position itself as a global leader in innovation.
A/P Duarte is a graduate in Software Engineering. He has extensive experience in the gaming, hospitality, and restaurant industries, in addition to having managed multicultural and multilingual projects in various countries. In 2005, he was honored as “Outstanding Young Person 2005” in the New Technologies category by the Uruguayan Ministry of Education and Culture. In 2008, the product “SmartVisum,” developed by HPSGaming, one of his companies, was nominated for “Technological Manufacturer” at the “Casino Gaming Awards.” In 2010, he received the “NOVA 2010” award for the development of the “Davinci NXG2” gaming platform.
