Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Diploma in Human Resources

On July 26, 2012, a celebration was held to mark the 20th anniversary of the Diploma in Human Resources, with the participation of faculty members from the graduate programs in human resources at the School of Administration and Social Sciences. In attendance were Dr. Gaston J. Labadie, Dean of the faculty; Jaime Damiani, Academic Secretary; Ximena Fernández, Coordinator of Human Resources Programs; and Carlos Zapater, Course Coordinator at the School of Graduate and Executive Studies. The Dean spoke, referring to the history of this graduate program, and Dr. Pablo Fernández, Director of Marketing Tech, gave a presentation on the importance of the internal customer.

The Diploma in Human Resources, whichhas than 200 graduates, was launched in 1992 with the mission of professionalizing the strategic management of human capital. Currently, the school offers two graduate-level programs in this field: the Specialization Diploma in Human Resources (1 year) and the Master’s in Human Resources Management (2 years).
