QS World University Rankings: ORT Uruguay Among the Top 500

Universidad ORT Uruguay ranked among the top 500 universities in the world in the 2012 QS World University Rankings, published in September 2012. The main criteria used to compile the rankings are academic peer reviews, employer evaluations, and published research. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) tops the list, followed by the University of Cambridge and Harvard University.
Entre las primeras 500 del mundo hay 20 universidades latinoamericanas, siendo la primera la Universidad de San Pablo. Entre las universidades latinoamericanas, la Universidad ORT Uruguay fue clasificada en el lugar número 16, y en el ranking mundial entre las posiciones 451 - 500.
