A master's thesis in engineering won first prize in the "2013 Latin American Master's Thesis Competition"

The thesis titled “Session Type Inference” by Ernesto Copello, an engineer who earned a Master’s degree in Engineering (research track) and serves as a Research Teaching Assistant in the CompuTE group at the School of Engineering, won first place in July 2013 at the “2013 Latin American Master’s Thesis Competition.” The thesis will be presented at a special session of the “39th Latin American Conference on Computer Science (CLEI 2013),” organized by the Latin American Center for Computer Science Studies. The event will take place from October 7 to 11 of this year in Naiguatá, Vargas (Venezuela).

The thesis advisors were Dr. Álvaro Tasistro, Academic Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Engineering and Professor of Computer Science at the school, and Dr. Nora Szasz, Academic Coordinator of Systems Engineering.
