The Institute of Education is conducting a consulting project for UNICEF on learning among children and youth in Latin America

The proposal submitted by the Institute of Education for the consultancy project titled "Study on Prospects for Improving Learning Opportunities for Children, Adolescents, and Young People in Latin America" was selected by UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) in response to a call for proposals issued in August 2013. The project is being carried out between October 2013 and February 2014.

The project’s principal investigator is Dr. Denise Vaillant, the institute’s Academic Secretary. The team also includes Inés Aguerrondo, a faculty member in the Master’s in Educational Management program; María del Carmen Azpiroz, a doctoral student in the Doctorate in Education program; and Dr. Magdalena De Stefani, a faculty member in the Master’s in Education program.
