Publication of “Inmediaciones de la Comunicación”

In August 2013, the School of Communication and Design published the annual journal *Inmediaciones de la Comunicación* (Volume 8, Issue 8). It contains articles divided into the following sections: communication, culture and society, contexts, and book reviews. This annual publication aims to provide a forum for reflection, research, and analysis of contemporary communication processes and issues, with a critical perspective that seeks to stimulate theoretical debate in the humanities and culture, in the arts and social sciences, while also considering diverse methodological, pedagogical, and empirical approaches.

The Editorial Board consists of professors Marisol Álvarez, Álvaro Buela (Editor-in-Chief), Aldo Mazzucchelli, Virginia Silva Pintos, and Ana Solari. The Advisory Board consists of Alicia Entel (Argentina), Raúl Fuentes Navarro (Mexico), José Carlos Lozano (Mexico), José Marques de Melo (Brazil), María Cristina Mata (Argentina), and Erick Torrico (Bolivia).

It contains the following articles:
