Seven video games were created by teams of programmers and game designers at the "Global Game Jam 2014 in Uruguay," organized by Antel and the Video Game Department of the School of Communication and Design. The event took place from January 24 to 26 at the Telecommunications Tower.

"Global Game Jam," organized by the International Game Developers Association, is a global event designed to foster the exchange of ideas among video game developers, programmers, designers, musicians, animators, and illustrators—both amateurs and professionals. This year, it took place simultaneously at 480 venues across 70 countries.

The event began with an instructional video, after which participants had 48 hours to create a video game based on a global theme that was revealed to them: “We don’t see things as they are, but as we are.”
