Presentation of a paper at the “9th Research Conference on Social and Environmental Accounting,” Spain

Nicolás Gambetta, Academic Coordinator of the Graduate Programs in Accounting and Taxation at the School of Management and Social Sciences, presented the research paper “Corporate Social Responsibility and Risk Management in the Banking Industry” at the “9th Research Conference on Social and Environmental Accounting,” held on January 22, 2014, in Burgos, Spain.

He also presented the paper “Reputation Loss and Risk Management in the Banking Industry” at the “19th Workshop on Accounting and Management Control – Raymond Konopka Memorial,” which took place on January 23 in the city of Burgos.

Both articles were co-authored with Dr. Ana Zorio-Grima, Associate Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Valencia (Spain), and Dr. María Antonia García-Benau, Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the same university.
