The futsal team won the championship at the "Nixus" Cup Beach Soccer Tournament

On February 26, 2014, the men’s futsal team from Universidad ORT Uruguay the championship at the Men’s Beach Soccer Tournament – “Nixus” Cup, organized by the University Sports League. The tournament took place from February 17 to 26 at the Arenas del Plata Stadium, located on Pocitos Beach.

The university team played in the final against San Eugenio Universitario de Rivera, winning 3–2.
