"On November 5, 1965, after a 16-hour standoff with more than 350 police officers, the Argentine assailants Marcelo Brignone, Carlos Alberto Mereles, and Roberto Dorda were killed in the Liberaij building, in the heart of Montevideo, at 1182 Julio Herrera y Obes Street." Haberkorn reconstructed the story thanks to various interviews, a review of the press from that era, and, above all, thanks to an unpublished testimony.
